Preserved Naturally

I started making nature themed preservation art because of my love for nature and the outdoors. I thought about how I can use real items from nature to make a lasting piece of art and looked to pressing leaves and flowers. The more I practiced pressing nature, the more I realized I loved the idea of capturing a piece of nature and turning it into something to be cherished forever. Every cut out design in each frame is real pressed and preserved piece of nature gathered from around Minnesota and Wisconsin.
