Bird Room Glassworks

Nissa Thumann is the artist behind Bird Room Glassworks, based in Rosemount, Minnesota. Her business is named after her grandmother's bird room in northern MN - a sunny space filled with plants and birds where she spent many summers swimming, biking around town, and enjoying the slower pace of small-town life.

Using the copper foil method, Nissa creates handcrafted stained glass inspired by nature, vibrant color, and the ever-changing beauty of light. Many of her pieces incorporate beads and other light-catching details, adding dimension and a touch of sparkle to each design.

Through Bird Room Glassworks, Nissa hopes to create pieces that bring color, joy, and a sense of connection to the spaces people call home.
